Reception mileage based on reception over open, flat terrain. Surrounding structures, transmitting antenna height and power, and receiving antenna height and placement will effect the overall results.
In my personal test this antenna worked very well on UHF stations as well as VHF 7-13. Test location is about 40 miles from UHF and VHF stations. I tested it indoors.

Note: Most rod type TV antennas are non-returnable because once they are assembled or folded out we have no way of knowing if they have been damaged by trying to re-fold or / and stuff them back in the box. We can not resell an antenna that has been returned and take the chance we are sending a customer damaged product or one that is missing pieces. Ask before you order if you think you will be wanting to return it.
Most if not all TV antennas do not come with a mast or mount to hold them to a house. They only come with a U bolt that will hold them to a 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" mast. If you need a mount and pole see page CM HARDWARE PAGE
