ASKA # RFDM-1 MODULATOR INSTALLATION  INSTRUCTIONS MODULATOR INSTALLATION  INSTRUCTIONS ( MORE INFORMATION>>>)

I. Modulator Installation:

1 insert the male RCA connector from the video source into the RFDM-1 RCA lack

2. Insert the 3.Smm miniature plug nom the audio source into the RFDM-1 audio input (Mini jack)

3. Connect F to F connecting cable from RF output (F~Female connector on RFDM-1) to one of output port of splitter (Aska model ASU-2 or SP-21G recommended)

4. Connect cable from OffAirorCATVline or any other RF signal source to cther port of splitter

5. Connect input of splitter to TV RF input

6. Plug the provided 12 VDC, 100 mA p0wer supply into the power line end RFDM-l powerlack.

This completes the installation of RF&M-1 modulator

II. Channel Programming Steps:

Step 1. Using paper clip or ball point pen press and hold selecr button until LED flashes

Step 2. Release button and press channel button up or down to desired channels. This process can only be done while LED Is flashing

Step 3. Press select button and let LED turn off or let LED shut off by itself.

This completes channel selection

Note:

1. while doing channel selection process, if power goes off the last channel memoiy will mallunction even though LED will still be flashing

2. Output channel selection

The RFDM-1 output channel has been factory pre set lor UHF channels l4 thru 74

In case of making output channel for CATV Ultra channels (Ch-65 thru Ch-135) on TV we recommend proper instructions from dealer or disinbutor where the unit was purchased.

3. Channel indicator

when selected channel is two digit Ch-14 thru Ch-99, each channel can be shown in channel indicator If the selected channel is three digits Ch-100 thiu Ch-135, only the last two numbers will be shown on channel indicator with a dot between the two number and the third digit 1 will not be shown.

Example:

If indicator shows 32 this means Channel 32 if indicator shows 3.2 this means Channel 132
