Portable NTSC Pattern Generator with S-Video, Composite Video and Audio outputs

This handheld NTSC Pattern Generator is powered by a 9 volt battery or AC adapter providing NTSC color bars, crosshatch, dot, staircase, circle, center cross, windows, and a full range of color raster patterns. The outputs available are composite video via RCA connector, a RF output BNC connector, or an S-Video mini-DIN output. Signals can be produced as an interlaced or progressive scanning mode.

TV Signal Generator

The 1251B TV signal generator is a multi-standard unit with advanced features. It has been designed using the most modern technology resulting in great reliability. This model will output a modulated signal for both NTSC (North America) and PAL-SECAM (Europe) video standards. The video is equipped with 32 different display patterns and a circle insert for geometric adjustments. It is most suitable for high quality video alignment and calibration; and for instructional purposes.

A synthesized frequency modulator is provided that can be tuned from 37 to 865 MHz in 50 kHz steps. Tuning is by channel or frequency with output attenuation up to 50dB in 10dB steps.

A VTR (Video Text Recorder) function is available to check the head position, stepped images, and pause functions of a VCR.

Most functions can be chosen with a single rotary selector switch including; selection and display of RF by channel or frequency; selection of color system and audio standard; selection of output pattern; and storage and retrieval of up to 32 different programs.

The 1251B is a versatile and advanced TV signal generator offering the technician or engineer advanced signal capabilities coupled with great value.
