The ESHP Series CATV quality, channelized, heterodyne processors convert any single sub-band, VHF, or UHF channel to any single channel in the 54 to 552 MHz frequency range. The ESHP Series is ideal for moving a TV channel (VHF, CATV or UHF) to any unused channel in the system. Four models are available, including: ESHP-ON, ESHP-U/V, ESHP-V/V, and ESHP-S/V.

All models feature a PLL synthesized frequency control that ensures accurate, no-drift output. The ESHP Series dual SAW filter design provides a high degree of adjacent channel rejection (60 dB) and protection from intermodulation interference. This SAW filtering delivers true vestigial sideband response which guarantees superior broadcast picture quality. The ESHP features a low noise figure and a very low noise, low distortion output. An IF dual-detection, true peak response AGC circuit, delayed at the input stage, automatically compensates for input signal variations and maintains a low noise figure even under weak signal conditions. An external IF loop allows interfacing with video all-call or signal scrambling systems. The ESHP Series utilizes a front panel LED to alert a low input level condition. An internal standby carrier is also provided, which is automatically switched in during low signal level conditions. An alternate IF switch feature permits the substitution of a different IF program during low signal level conditions. Selection between standby carrier or alternate IF program mode is set by a rear panel switch. An aural trap depth control permits adjustment of the aural/visual carrier ratio. This notch type trap enables the transmission of BTSC encoded MTS stereo audio.

The ESHP Series products are housed in a single height, 1.75" high, rack mountable, aluminum chassis. The units have a complete set of level controls, including: aural trap depth and RF output. All controls are located on the front panel for ease of operation.
