    The CMABroadband Preamplifier Series includes professional quality, low noise, broadband VHF & UHF preamplifiers. These units have been designed to meet the needs of broadband system installations. The CMA Broadband Preamplifier Series provide exceptionally high signal handling capability and gain with good input match, making these preamplifiers ideal for use with wideband TV antennas. Four models are available, including: CMA-LB, Low Band VHF; CMA-HB , High Band VHF; CMA-BB, Broadband VHF; and CMA-Uc, Broadband UHF. A20 dB backmatched test port is supplied, permitting the unit's performance to be monitored without interrupting service.

     The CMA Broadband Preamplifier Series products are housed in a rugged die-cast case with an aluminum cover. Input, output, and test ports are 75 W, type "F" female connectors. These preamplifiers mount on the antenna mast (with supplied mounting hardware) and power is diplexed on the downlead, eliminating the need for a separate power feed. The voltage and current requirements for the CMA-LB, CMA-HB, and CMA-BB are -21 VDC @ 50 mA, which can easily be handled with Blonder Tongue's PS-1536 Power S u p p l y. The voltage and current requirements for the CMA-Uc are -21 VDC @ 29 mA, which can easily be handled with Blonder Tongue's PS-1526 Power Supply. The CMABroadband Preamplifier Series works in conjunction with most broadband VHF and UHF antennas, including the BTYBroadband Antenna Series. Blonder Tongue Preamplifiers can accommodate a maximum mast size of 1.5" O.D. (outside diameter).
