The A C C - 2 A is an adjacent channel combiner, designed to combine two input signals and provide two outputs, each containing both input signals at a level no more than 5.5 dB below the input. The primary application of the A C C - 2 A is the combining of two groups of channels and resplitting the signal to two outputs without incurring the loss associated with two individual hybrid combiner/splitters.
