$ FOR $ A PREAMP GIVES YOU THE MOST TV SIGNAL IMPROVEMENT FOR YOUR MONEY.
ADDING A PREAMP TO AN ANTENNA SYSTEM HAS THE SAME AFFECT ON YOUR TV RECEPTION AS WOULD INSTALLING AN ANTENNA UP TO 16 TIMES BIGGER
CM SPARTAN 3 MAST MOUNTED PREAMPS ARE THE MOST POPULAR PREAMPS IN THE USA. ALL MODELS HAVE 16DB GAIN ON VHF AND 23DB GAIN ON UHF.
All pre-amps have a power supply that plugs into an AC outlet inside the house that lowers the voltage and sends it up the coax to power the amplifier which is mounted up near the antenna. The benefit is that you get amplification before any line loss or noise and you don't have to run 117 AC up to your roof. NOTE: Don't install a regular splitter between the power supply and the pre-amp or you will short circuit the system and it won't work. You can install a special splitter that is power passive on only one port. Or put a DC Block on the outputs that don't run to the power supply. Also you can't put any type of matching transformers between the power supply and the pre-amp.
PREAMPLIFIERS
SPARTAN 3 Mast Mounted Preamplifiers
The industry standard preamplifiers for over 20 years are now completely
redesigned and updated. Performance is better than ever before and
all the features you require are included. The industry standard 0064
DSB features a single 300 ohm VHF/UHF input and a single 75 ohm output.
Variations are available for applications requiring separate VHF and UHF
inputs; 75 ohm inputs; VHF only models and models with active UHF and passive
VHF passbands.
Models 0065 DSB and 0265 DSB are not supplied with a power
supply. They have been designed for optimized performance with a supply
voltage of +12 to +22 VDC from a satellite receiver. This power is
normally passed to the preamplifier via a 40121FD (for a one output LNB)
or 40321FD (for a twin LNB and two outputs) which diplex (combine) the VHF/UHF
signals on to the same cable as the satellite signals.

MATV MAST MOUNTED PREAMPLIFIERS TiTAN
The Titan range of mast mounted amplifiers has been completely reengineered and updated. These amplifiers represent the ultimate in preamplifier performance. They are designed for use as an ultra low noise, ultra high gain preamplifier for deepest fringe applications and MATV headend applications. Their very high signal handling also makes them suitable for use as a mast mounted, ultra low noise distribution amplifier for use in small MATV systems. All models feature 75 Ohm input and output connections in line with modern headend engineering practice. Two models are available.

Preamplifier - High GainSold Out Use Winegard
AP8275
The Channel Master television antenna booster (preamplifier) will amplify
digital and HD signals received by your antenna. This antenna preamplifier
is a high gain, low noise preamplifier used for weak signal areas to allow
a weak signal that is present at the antenna to be amplified to a viewable
strength. This TV antenna preamplifier works best for persons in weak signal
areas and is subject to overdrive if used in areas with fairly strong signals.
In stronger signal areas our medium gain preamplifier, the CM 7778 is a better
choice. Preamplifiers are also used if you anticipate distributing your signal
with a digital splitter to multiple outlets throughout your house as splitters
reduce the signal strength available at each output.
