Instructions on how to install Snap-N-Seal "F" connectors on Coax wire using the IT-1000 tool
Push down wire striping blade so that you can insert the RG-6 or RG-59 wire.
Be sure to insert the wire in the correct side. Let the blade clamp down on the wire.
The coax should extend just a little beyond the tool body. Twist the tool around the coax wire a few turns.
Hold the wire and pull the tool so it strips off the coax wire so it looks like this
Put the Snap-N-Seal ring up the coax as shown then push the connector on to the coax until the foam is even with the bottom of the inside of the threaded end of the connector. The body of the connector should easily push up under the foil and braid of the coax. You must use the correct Snap-N-Seal connector for the type of wire you are installing them on. Use SNS-59 on RG-59, SNS-6 on RG-6 that has one layer of foil and braid, and SNS-6QS must be used on "Quad-shield" Coax.
Move the handle away from the tool and put the wire with the connector in the tool cavity. Be sure the center conductor is straight.
Pull the lever toward the tool until you feel it "Snap" as the ring is forced into the connector making a weather tight seal
The connector is now installed
on the coax and ready to use.
