TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED SOLDER STATION

The electronic temperature control solder station has been developed to meet the present and future needs of the electronics industry. It incorporates a sophisticated electronic circuit which enables the user to change the tip temperature from 300 F (150 C) to 790 F (420 C) without the need to change the tip or heating element. The temperature is maintained within + 100F of its preset temperature. This is made possible by a unique temperature sensor that is located near the tip, resulting in rapid response and little temperature variation. The tip of the unit is isolated from the AC line by a transformer. Low voltage (24 Volts) is utilized to power the heating element. Completely electronic switching protects voltage and current sensitive components against transient spikes sometimes caused by other units utilizing mechanical switching circuits. The Temperature Compensating Design used on this iron controls damage to iron when left on for long periods of time. This well made soldering iron is designed for long life on the production line or in the engineering lab. The 40 watt rating guarantees being able to handle most soldering jobs. The iron is lightweight and compact for those delicate soldering applications. Handle has comfort grip for increased ease of use. Replacement tips for this iron are same tips as used on No. S4240 Solder Station.

This unique combination tool provides the user with soldering iron and solder removal tool for fast one hand operation. The vacuum pump is tightly sealed to provide thorough solder removal. Easy removal of vacuum pump for removal of solder. Also available are replacement tip and replacement “O” ring for solder pump.
