The Anti-Static Desoldering tool is ideal for those concerned with static electricity harming components. With a conductive Polypropylene barrel and a static-free tip, the tool harmlessly disperses static electricity into the atmosphere.
The Static-Free Desoldering tools are designed to give equal static-free desoldering. They will not create or carry a static charge to the component being worked on, because the tips are made from conductive carbon fiber. The difference between the static-free tools is choice of grip size.
